Description:

Minecraft is a independent sandbox game that allows building using the blocks (cubes) of which the world is made. It was created by Markus "Notch" Persson and is currently in Beta. The development of Minecraft began around the 10th of May 2009. The gameplay was based on the games Dwarf Fortress, Dungeon Keeper and Infiniminer.

Changelog:

- New Biome: Jungle;

- New mob: Ocelot. Runs away from you, but if fed with fish becomes a pet Cat, fom which the creepers fled;

- Significant improvement in the AI of the monsters;

- Zombies and Skeletons try to escape the sun, hiding under trees or in the water;

- Villagers can now open and close doors, and occupy empty houses;

- Added the Desert Well, a new construction;

- Added over 15 new items;

- Fixed various bugs and glitches.



How to Play in Single Player:

1. Copy the folder. Minecraft to " AppData Roaming" inside your user folder (if not found, type %appdata% in Start menu) replacing everything.

2. Run the Launcher Minecraft.exe and when asking for a login, just select Login (without typing anything) and then play offline;

3. Select SinglePlayer in menu;

4. Have a good offline game.



How to play in Multiplayer:

1. Make everything as SiglePlayer to play, but choose Multiplayer in the menu;

2. Type or paste the IP address of the server.

3. Have a good game!



How to create your own server:

1. Enter the folder minecraft_server and run the minecraft-server.bat, when finished, close;

2. Open the file server.properties with notepad.

3. Change the line "online-mode = true" to "online-mode = false" or, if not exists, add this line;

4. Release the 25565 port forwarding on your modem (how to do this change from modem to modem);

5. To play, move your IP to your friends can connect to your server;

6. Have a good game!

Alternative to steps 4 and 5: Install Hamachi, a free software that simulates a virtual network, and pass the IP it gave to you to your friends (who also must install Hamachi).



Using the editor:

1. Enter in the folder mceditMCEditData and run the file mcedit.exe;

2. Have fun.
